What You Will Learn:

1. Welding Safety: Intensive PPE use, fire prevention, fume extraction, electrical safety, workshop safety rules

2. Metal Basics: Types of metals (mild steel, stainless steel), metal preparation (cutting, grinding, cleaning)

3. Tools & Equipment: Setting up welding machines, maintaining electrodes, using hand tools

4. SMAW (Stick Welding) Fundamentals: Arc striking, running straight beads, flat position welding

5. Oxy-Fuel Cutting: Safe operation of gas torches for cutting and heating

Outcome: Certified to safely perform basic welding and cutting tasks under supervision.
