• Pre-requisite: Welding Fundamentals Certificate

What You Will Learn:

1. SMAW (Stick Welding) Advanced: All positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, Overhead) with different electrodes (E6013, E7018)

2. GMAW (MIG/MAG Welding): Wire feed welding, parameter settings (voltage, wire speed), welding on thin and thick materials

3. FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding): High-deposition welding for heavy fabrication

4. Joint Types: Practicing all standard joints (Butt, Lap, T, Corner) in multiple positions

5. Visual Inspection: Identifying common weld defects (porosity, undercut, lack of fusion)

Outcome: Qualified for entry-level welder positions in fabrication shops and construction sites.
