Your Last Line of Defense. Don’t Just Wear It, Master It.

Wearing PPE is not enough; it must be the right type, in good condition, worn correctly, and maintained properly. This practical course moves beyond simple issuance to build true competency. You will learn how to inspect, don, doff, and care for critical PPE, ensuring it provides the maximum protection for hazards like impacts, chemicals, arcs, and fires.

  • Course Format: Highly practical, hands-on inspection and fitting sessions.

  • Total Duration: 4 Hours (Half Day).

  • Prerequisites: None. Fundamental for all workers.

  • Certification: PPE Competency Certificate from Gulf Skill Education System.

What You Will Learn (Course Objectives)

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply the PPE Hierarchy of Controls and understand when PPE is required.

  • Select the correct type of PPE for specific hazards (chemical, impact, electrical, thermal).

  • Conduct a thorough pre-use inspection on major PPE items to identify defects.
